Karan found a classic Hollywood bungalow with great bones but wanted it to feel more personalized for him. Furthermore, having a space where he could entertain his friends and family was very important to him. We started by creating a lounge that features a dark green velvet sofa and a green accent wall accompanied by vinyl records in current rotation. Final touches included a bar made with dark wood tones adorned with a record player and a custom neon sign quoting his closest friend. As the night goes on, his guests can make their way to a dining room with seating for 6 to enjoy each other’s company. Off the lounge is where the work happens. We made a functional office using soft earth tones and rattan fabrics to give Karan the perfect space for productivity.
